We have two school sites in Katowice, Poland: Wspólna Street and Gallusa Street. In Wspólna Street we have two preschool groups and in Gallusa Street there is the Elementary School along with another preschool group.

In both sites the classrooms are light and airy and fitted with child-sized wooden furniture. In accordance with Montessori principles, the classrooms are laid out in a structured way with separate areas for practical life activities, sensorial materials, maths, language and geography, etc. There is a school library of English children’s books for children to borrow and read at home as well as a parent lending library of books in English and Polish on topics such as the Montessori method, bilingualism and a variety of parenting matters.

School site at Wspólna Street, Katowice

The Wspólna site is set in a quiet and peaceful location in the Piotrowice district on the outskirts of the city. The preschool building is a historic one built in the 1930s and has a spacious garden with a sandpit. There is a nearby forest where we go for regular walks.

School site at Gallusa Street, Katowice

Our Gallus site is in the conveniently located Brynów district and just a couple of minutes’ drive away from the A4 highway. It is situated on the ground floor of the building of the Gallus Higher Education College. We have our own separate entrance to the building and the school is divided off from the rest of the college by a dividing wall to create a secure space.

We have access to a playground and indoor sports hall at the neighbouring local primary school building just eighty metres away and a large, beautiful park is ten minutes away on foot for walks.
